At Nursery

In our indoor and outdoor environments we create a magical feeling of awe and wonder for our children and this, combined with focussed and in-the-moment planning, enables children to be the leaders of their own learning.

 

At the Arboretum

We are also lucky enough to have all the benefits of a natural, learning adventure in our Forest School and Outdoor Learning sessions. Here all our children have the freedom to explore a woodland space, investigate the life within it and learn incredible outdoor skills – all in the freshest Arboretum air. 

 

Enhanced Activities

Jabberwocky has a broadly enhanced provision for development that ensures our children are off to a great start when they move on to school. We provide a wide array of extracurricular activities such as French, Fitness and Sports, Forest School, Cooking and Gardening Club.

 

Healthy and Happy

It’s very important that children can learn how to make great choices for healthy eating. Our meals are home-cooked with ingredients grown and bought locally wherever possible – the excellent town butcher has delivered to our nursery for years!

 

Also to help our natural world as much as we can, we are turning nappies into Biofuel, and saying “No” to single-use plastic and saying “Yes” to recycling packaging!
