Wookey Hole's Halloween Spectacular
From October 21–29, this week-long event will feature magic, entertainment, and spooky fun for all ages. This Halloween, Wookey Hole transforms into a thrilling adventure filled with spooky surprises! Explore the Witch’s Lair and wander through the Cave Tour while encountering Halloween-themed attractions at every turn. Somerset Reindeer Ranch's Halloween Spooktacular
This family-friendly event will take place from October 26–31. This Halloween Experience promises a day filled with fun, thrills, and festive activities. Explore the enchanting grounds where you can meet the friendly reindeer and enjoy various family-friendly attractions.
Delve into spooky crafts, face painting, and a thrilling Halloween trail to discover hidden surprises along the way. Don’t forget to stop by the haunted areas for some eerie encounters! It’s a perfect outing for families looking to celebrate Halloween in a unique and magical setting.
Cheddar Gorge & Caves' Skele-brate
Running from 26th October – 3rd November 2024, Cheddar Gorge & Caves are hosting a fun and ‘spooktacular’ skeleton trail and Halloween themed party.
Cheddar Man, the resident skeleton who lives in Gough’s Cave (he’s very old … 10,000 years old!) has invited his skeleton friends to visit him this Halloween half-term and join a ‘spine-tingling’ party.
To get an invite to the party, you must join the trail in Gough’s Cave. This is no ordinary skeleton trail as they have brought along their skeletal creature friends who you must find. Once you’ve found them all, you’ll gain entry to the fun ‘skele-brations’, where you’ll be rewarded with a Halloween badge and treated to themed party games and arts and crafts.
Halloween at the Station- Somerset & Dorset Railway - Midsomer Norton Station

Visit for an atmospheric Halloween Train ride at Midsomer Norton.
The Railway will be running their standard timetable with departures at 10:30, 11:30, 12:30, 14:00 & 15:00.
There will be Halloween activities and the shop & buffet will be open between 10:00 and 15:30.
Farrington Pumpkin Festival
It's time to dust off your wellies ready for the annual Pumpkin Picking Festival at Farrington's Farm, the biggest pumpkin patch near Bristol and Bath surrounded by beautiful countryside.
A huge variety of pumpkins are on offer including the classic orange ‘Cinderella’ pumpkins, white ‘ghost’ pumpkins, knobbly ‘knucklehead’ pumpkins, tasty crown prince and lots more. Grab a wheelbarrow to explore the huge 12-acre Pumpkin Patch this October.
Picking dates are 5th-6th, 12th-13th, 19th-20th, 25th-31st October 2024.
